Tropical Cafe.....

Relaxing by the Swimming Pool!

Major hotels have to cater for all tastes. The Dynasty Hotel has a most charming swimming pool setting amongst gardens and waterways. On a typical warm Bali day, lunch by the swimming pool complex is an easy way to while away the time and make you realise what holidays are really about.

At the Tropical Café you can snack on healthy salads, devour a wide variety of burgers, enjoy great pizza or calzone finger food, or even enjoy a full heart meal.

Healthy snacks include a Balinese Chicken Salad [shredded chicken in Balinese spices, served in a half pineapple in tropical style], a Vegetable Tempura or a Vegetarian Pizza [tomato, mushrooms, olives, egg plant, zucchini, pineapple, green peppers and basil].

For the kids a Giant Hot Dog [with French Fries of course] or select from a myriad of burgers [Aussie, Swiss, Mexican, Chicken or Fish]. Jaffles with many different fillings are also available as is the original Australian Meat Pie [gravy, peas and chips].

If you have missed your early morning breakfast, do not worry! At the Tropical Café a large breakfast [The Works] is always available: eggs any way, grilled tomato, hash browns, bacon, sausage, baked beans and toast.

The usual toasted sandwiches [BLT, Club or Ham & Cheese], Pasta combinations and other sundry snacks fill a very extensive menu.

If you are too comfortable to leave the surrounds of the swimming pool but need something more substantial to eat, do not despair. Australian steaks are always available [sirloin or T-Bone], as are Lamb Chops and Barbecued Pork Spare Ribs.

Seafood varies from that original finger food, Fish & Chips to Grilled Fish or that Balinese favourite, Pepes Ikan [marinated fish wrapped in banana leaves, then grilled].

As expected a basic list of Indonesian dishes are also available beginning with the standard Soto Ayam [a soup of chicken and glass noodles] and including Nasi Goreng [fried rice], Mie Goreng [fried noodles], Ayam Goreng [fried chicken] and a variety of different sates.

All in all, something for everyone!
