This little warung, half way up the hill between Ubud and Sayan Ridge, is very popular with the local foreign community the male members of it, anyway]. Cold beer is always on tap, and an old fashioned barbeque almost on the footpath, seem to keep them all happy most of the time.
The plain old Chicken and chips served here, is about as good as it gets. A great slab of fried chicken with chips cut from real potatoes, and plenty of them. All for Rp. 15,000!
This is quite a hangout for the local foreigners who reside in the area. Beer is cold and on tap, and appears to be the main attraction, apart from the barbecued meats that are always been prepared on a long barbeque at the edge of the footpath. Steaks, Lamb Chops, Large slabs of Ribs or Sausages, take your pick!
All the usual Indonesian dishes that are found in small warungs are also here. Nasi Goreng and Nasi Campur head the list, and at very reasonable prices.
They also do an English Breakfast for early risers, but don?t ask for your eggs poached, they have no idea what that means! But at these prices, let?s not get too fussy!
Simple, good value, good fun!
