Puti Intan.....

Padang at its Best!

Puti Intan sells Padang food [traditional food of the Minangkabau people but usually referred to as Padang that being the capital of the province]. So what, you say? Thousands of other places do too. This Padang restaurant, almost at the central intersection at Ungasan, is quite different from the norm. Immaculately clean and air-conditioned with convenient parking spots in front, the food display is very extensive. The have a basic offering of 30 different dishes, plus daily specials. For example the Ayam [chicken] can be Goreng, Bumbu, Gulai, Semur, Panggang or Rendang. Never forget to add some of those Chilli Eggs to your plate selection. - May 19, 2010
