Dua EM - Lombok.....

Ayam Taliwang

Dua EM is nothing more than a busy eating house. A long time favourite with locals and tourists alike it processes hungry diners every day. Dua M is the home of Ayam Taliwang, as that is what most people order when they visit. Small Spring Chickens, what the French call Poussin, are first grilled over coconut embers then immersed in the traditional fiery sauce. They cost only Rp. 22,500 each. The traditional ways include Julat, Pelecingan in Lombok style as well as Ayam Bakar [BBQ], Ayam Bakar Kecap [BBQ with sweet soy], or Ayam Goreng [fried] and Ayam Goreng Madu [fried with honey].

There are also other alternatives on the simple menu here including Sate Sum-Sum, their special beef satay. Seafood is either Gurami or Karper and of course that other Lombok special Pelecing Kangkung is also available, as everywhere else in Lombok, but here it only costs Rp.5,000 per serve.

Not a place to linger, just an eating house. It is somewhere to drop in for tasty local food at incredibly low prices, and eat with the locals.
